Andrea has been a paralegal for over ten years, with her prior experience spanning a range of practice areas that includes criminal law, family law, child abuse and neglect, civil litigation, federal receiverships, and claims administration matters. Apart from her work as a paralegal, Andrea has experience working in the healthcare industry as a project manager, remote workforce development specialist, in-house training specialist, and performance improvement analyst.

Andrea is also a passionate advocate for military spouse employment and was featured as a panelist at the 2019 MSEP New Partner Induction Ceremony and Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.

Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Andrea graduated summa cum laude from Grand Valley State University, where she was the recipient of various scholarships and honors. Andrea also assisted department faculty in applying for and obtaining accreditation of the Legal Studies program by the American Bar Association.
